How To Attach Our Decorations

Attaching to Icing/Fondant covered cakes:
  • You will need Edible Glue or a tiny amount of Water. 
  • Add the Edible Glue or Water to the back of the decoration, wait until it is a little tackie, then carefully place onto you cake and lightly hold it in place until you are happy that it will not move.
Attaching to butter creamed covered cakes:
  • You may need some fresh butter cream.  
  • Add decorations just before your celebration. 
  • Do not put the cake into a fridge once the decorations are in position as the colours will bleed and the decorations may melt.
  • If the Buttercream is fresh you can lightly press your decoration into place. 
  • If the Buttercream has a dry crust add a small amount of fresh buttercream to the back of your item and lightly place onto you cake.


PLEASE NOTE: These items will not survive in a fridge they will melt!

Storage Details:

  • Leave in original packing and store in a cool dry room.
  • Away from any direct heat source i.e. sunlight, radiators etc. 
  • Do NOT store in the fridge or freezer as this will course the colours to run and the icing/fondant to melt.


  • Best before Dates: 4 months from date of order'
  • All our decorations are freshly made as orders come in.
